HiveAlive Max Boost 15% Pollen Patty – Single 1 lb Patty

This is one 1 lb HiveAlive Max Boost High Performance Pollen Patty, sold on its own so you can feed a single hive, a nuc or a new colony without buying a full case. The patty is made with 15% real U.S. pollen, irradiated to kill pathogens, and has 15.5% total protein. It also contains a full dose of HiveAlive liquid and an added blend of amino-acid-rich seaweed extracts.

Feed it when natural pollen is short, such as early spring build-up, summer dearth or fall preparation. Smoke the bees down gently, then lay the patty across the top bars as close to the brood as possible with the perforated paper side down. Replace it as the bees use it, and keep feeding for at least 6 weeks so a full brood cycle can develop. Bees should also have a carbohydrate source such as nectar or syrup. For several hives, the box of 10 is better value.
