HiveAlive Max Boost 15% Pollen Patty – Box of 10 x 1 lb

The HiveAlive Max Boost High Performance Pollen Patty is a ready-to-feed protein patty made with 15% real U.S. pollen. The pollen is irradiated to kill pathogens, and total protein is 15.5%. Each patty also has a full dose of HiveAlive liquid and an extra blend of amino-acid-rich seaweed extracts. HiveAlive says this is the highest pollen content of any patty on the market.

Feed it when natural pollen is short, such as early spring build-up, summer dearth, fall preparation or when you are starting new colonies. Smoke the bees down gently, then lay a patty across the top bars as close to the brood as possible with the perforated paper side facing down. Replace patties as the bees use them and keep feeding for at least 6 weeks. Bees should also have a carbohydrate source such as nectar or syrup.
